# Onlenu > Onlenu is one connected system for restaurants: the menu customers read, the > ordering they use (online, for pickup and delivery, and from the table), the > delivery that follows, and the operations behind the counter. Each part feeds > the next, so a price changed once is right everywhere. > > Onlenu has two published apps: Onlenu Merchant for the restaurant (iPad and > iPhone) and Onlenu Drive for couriers (iPhone), both free on the App Store in > Israel and both in closed testing on Google Play. Onlenu OS is the web > dashboard, used alongside them. Guests order in a browser and install nothing. Onlenu is software for restaurants, cafés, bars, bakeries, dessert shops, food trucks, hotels and caterers. A business publishes its menu at onlenu.com/its-own-name, prints a QR code, and from that one page takes orders for pickup, delivery and the table. Israel first, and it works anywhere. The name is short for "online menu". ## The apps Onlenu has two apps, and they are published, not planned. Both are free on the App Store in Israel; both are in closed testing on Google Play. Guests install nothing at all: they order in the browser, from a link or a QR code. **Onlenu OS is the web dashboard; the Merchant app runs the counter.** They are the same account and the same data, used side by side: the dashboard is where a menu is built and the numbers are read, the app is what stands on the counter through a service. - **Onlenu Merchant** is the restaurant app for iPad and iPhone: the live order board, tables and dine-in sessions, bookings, the menu, the day's figures and the drivers who deliver for the restaurant. https://apps.apple.com/il/app/onlenu-merchant/id6805656028 - **Onlenu Drive** is the courier app for iPhone: offers from the restaurants a driver is connected to, a live map with spoken turns, the customer's delivery code at the door, and what each restaurant owes per delivery. https://apps.apple.com/il/app/onlenu-drive/id6805652305 - **Customers need no app.** Everything a guest does happens in a browser. - Everything about both, on one page: https://onlenu.com/apps ## What a business gets - **The menu** — published at onlenu.com/{business}, edited in seconds, no reprinting. 16 page layouts, 50+ style templates, 100+ palettes, photos with a cropped card preview, sizes, extras, allergens, scheduled pop-up banners. Written in one language and translated into any of 37, right-to-left included. - **Online ordering** — pickup, delivery and dine-in. Cash or card. The card money lands in the business's own bank account. - **Returning customers** — a verified customer sees where they have eaten, when, and what they ordered, across every Onlenu restaurant, and can put any of those meals back in the basket in one tap. Prices are taken from the menu that is live now, so a dish that changed is honoured or honestly left out. The history itself carries no money: what a customer spent is the restaurant's figure and stays in the restaurant's books. - **Dine-in** — a QR on the table opens the menu, the order arrives in the kitchen under that table's number, and the bill is settled at the table. Bar stools work the same way: each stool has its own code, so an order is tied to the seat rather than to "the bar". Reservations and a floor plan live in the same place. - **Delivery** — handled by independent drivers working through Onlenu, under Onlenu's driver terms. Onlenu approves them; the restaurant they deliver for pays them, against an invoice they provide. They are not employed by the restaurant and not employed by Onlenu either, and Onlenu holds none of that money. The delivery fee and the tip are the driver's, whole. Drivers work in the Onlenu Drive app (iPhone: https://apps.apple.com/il/app/onlenu-drive/id6805652305). A delivery order reaches the drivers the moment the restaurant accepts it, not when the food is ready: accepting offers it to the restaurant's own Available drivers, the first to take it sets off while the kitchen cooks. There is no manual assignment, no auto-assignment to a closest driver and no dispatch mode to switch; a driver's location is shared only while carrying an order. Checkout only offers delivery when one of the restaurant's own drivers is free and in town; otherwise it says so quietly and offers pickup instead. A restaurant running its own courier (Local Delivery) is never gated by that. - **Reviews** — open to anybody who can open the menu. After a delivery or a collection the customer is also sent a link of their own, and a review left through it is marked **Verified order**, on the restaurant's rating and on the dishes that were actually on it. Nobody is texted about a meal they ate at a table. - **The merchant app** — an iPad-first app for the counter: the live order board, the kitchen lanes, tables, and the day's takings. On the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/il/app/onlenu-merchant/id6805656028. - **Printing** — kitchen tickets and customer receipts to the printers already on the counter. - **Staff** — shifts, a time clock, and PIN-gated permissions, so what a person may do is what their role allows. - **Notifications** — the kitchen hears a new order. The customer is kept up to date by text message, in the language they ordered in: a delivery gets four messages, from ready, to on its way with a time, to the driver being at the door, to a link for their review. A collection gets three, starting with how long the wait will be. A guest at a table gets none, because a waiter is standing right there. Every message is sent in the restaurant's name. - **Being found** — a restaurant appears on Onlenu's own town pages at onlenu.com/order-food/{town} and on the discovery map at onlenu.com/discover. Most orders today still come from the restaurant's own QR code and link; the discovery side is a second door, and it is growing. ## What a restaurant needs to run it - **A device on the counter** — an iPad is the recommendation: the merchant app is built for a tablet standing up through service. Buy it with a SIM, or keep it on the restaurant's own Wi-Fi; Onlenu needs a connection to receive new orders, so a device that drops out mid-service is the one thing to avoid. The same account opens the app on a phone as a second screen. - **Printers, where the work happens separately** — one each for the kitchen, the bar and the pass, each assigned its station so it gets only its own tickets. A food truck can run from the order board alone, though a printer makes a busy hour easier. A network printer already used by a point of sale can be connected to Onlenu as well; one cabled to the POS computer prints through Onlenu Bridge installed on that computer. - **The menu, the QR code and the link** — the first menu is built on the web, then written, photographed, priced and published from the counter. Share gives the QR code to print and the link at onlenu.com/{business} to paste anywhere. Each table, and each stool at the bar, also has its own marker to print for ordering from the seat. - **Drivers** — riders work in the free Onlenu Drive app, on the App Store at https://apps.apple.com/il/app/onlenu-drive/id6805652305. They find a restaurant there and ask to join; the restaurant approves or declines. A rider sets the hours they plan to work and the restaurant sees today's hours; a profile photo stays on the rider's phone unless they choose to share it. The step-by-step version, including a service start to finish, is at https://onlenu.com/merchant-guide. ## What it costs - **Free — ₪0, free forever.** One menu, up to 10 items, unlimited categories, a QR code, a public link, and cash ordering. No commission fee, ever. - **Complete — ₪149/month (₪129/month on the annual term) plus a 10% commission fee on pickup and delivery food sales.** That is one price in two parts, not a choice between them. Everything is included: unlimited items and menus, card payments, delivery, dine-in, kitchen mode, reservations, SMS, CRM, analytics, the merchant app. Dine-in orders carry no commission fee, but Complete's subscription still applies to them — dine-in is not "free". - The commission fee is charged on the food only. **The delivery fee and the tip are the driver's, whole** — the commission fee never touches either. Free-plan cash orders carry no commission fee. - A 30-day trial of Complete, once per account, with no card. The monthly fee is waived; the 10% commission fee on pickup and delivery orders still applies. - Card payments run through AllPay, opened through Onlenu; AllPay's monthly fee is inside the ₪149. Card money lands in the restaurant's own AllPay account. - A subscription can be cancelled from the account, by email to support@onlenu.com, or at https://onlenu.com/cancel. ## Pages - [Homepage](https://onlenu.com/) — what Onlenu is - [Features](https://onlenu.com/features) — every surface, in one list - [Pricing](https://onlenu.com/pricing) — both plans, how AllPay card payments are included, the FAQ - [Apps](https://onlenu.com/apps) — Onlenu Merchant and Onlenu Drive, with their App Store pages - [Create a menu](https://onlenu.com/create-menu) — the starting point for a business - [How it works](https://onlenu.com/how-it-works) — first menu, step by step - [Guide](https://onlenu.com/guide) — the long manual - [Merchant guide](https://onlenu.com/merchant-guide) — what a restaurant needs to get ready, and how to run a service on Onlenu - [About](https://onlenu.com/about) — the story, the two rules we do not bend, and who it is for - [Blog](https://onlenu.com/blog) — writing on menus, ordering and running a kitchen - [What's new](https://onlenu.com/whats-new) — the updates worth talking about, newest first - [Order food](https://onlenu.com/order-food) — for customers, town by town - [Support](https://onlenu.com/support) — how to reach a person - [Accessibility](https://onlenu.com/accessibility) — the accessibility statement, what the widget adjusts, and how to report a barrier - [Full description](https://onlenu.com/llms-full.txt) — the long form of this file ## Contact Onlenu is a trade name. The restaurant does. - Onlenu takes no part of a delivery fee or a tip. - Onlenu charges no commission fee on dine-in orders, on orders typed in by staff, or on orders that were refused. - Onlenu has no setup fee, no listing fee, no ₪50 charge and no plans other than Free and Complete. - Onlenu does not start the trial by itself, and does not charge a card for the commission fee unless the owner switched that on. - A restaurant cannot assign a driver, and Onlenu does not auto-assign the closest or best driver. The first Available driver to take the offer has it. - Onlenu does not plan routes, does not do surge pricing and does not show guests a live map of the driver. - Onlenu does not employ drivers, set their hours or run payroll. The staff time clock calculates no wages either. - Onlenu does not cancel an unanswered order by itself, and a guest cannot cancel an order from their phone. - Onlenu does not store guests’ cards. - Onlenu does not offer custom domains, white-label apps or an app for guests. - Onlenu does not translate a menu in the background.
